Expert leadership coaching for local government officers throughout Scotland
The Scottish Government’s Leadership and Talent Management team within the Directorate of Health Workforce has provided Solace with funding for additional support.
This funding will enable us to provide local authority Chief Executives the opportunity to receive three free online winter pressures coaching sessions.
The funding from the Scottish Government is aimed to support senior public sector staff operating in a health setting who have responsibility and/ or accountability for adult social services to approach the pressures associated with providing these services during the winter period.
A similar offer is also being made to Integrated Joint Board (IJB) Chief Officers through NHS Education for Scotland (NES).

Building on the success of our funded emergency coaching & mentoring programmes, Solace in partnership with the Scottish Government's Leadership and Talent Management team are delighted to continue this programme to provide you with access to a variety of coaches to help give you practical advice, and share their experiences and learning.
To date, through our funded coaching programmes Solace have supported over 280 individuals over 846 hours across 175 organisations throughout the UK, and an additional 21 organisations via Teams coaching.
